James Arthur Brosseau II On October 17th 2023 Jim fulfilled God's mission here on earth and was called to the pearly gates of Heaven. Jim dedicated his life to the Lord 15 months ago and was reconnected with his childhood church, Great Island Church of the Nazaren in Harpswell Maine. As Jim put it he "Lived in the light of the Lord". God showed him how to be a better man and he learned to forgive and love everyone no matter what. Jim had a glow about him and nothing fretted him. He couldn't wait for Sunday's to worship with his wife Heather and his "Dog for God" Charlie. Jim got sober from alcohol December 16, 2018 and his whole life turned around. His life was totally centered around his family and loves being a "Grumps" to his grandchildren. Weekends were for his family and Sunday get togethers were kids running around and Grumps doing tractor rides and the yard is littered with toys. Jim was a great husband, loving, loyal, dedicated and a great provider. Jim and his wife celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary October 12th. He recently asked Heather to renew their vows before God in their church. Jim loved his kids, and the one's without his blood. He treated all his children as if they were his. With his wife Heather they have 7 children, and 8 grandchildren and looked forward to many more. Jim loved his animals, his cat Cassie whom he taught how to do tricks for treats and most recently getting Charlie. Jim didn't want Charlie at first but then called Heather up and said " God told me to take Charlie". Charlie and Jim did everything together, Jim even bringing him in the grocery store, He'd even text asking " what's Charlie doing?" Jim was THE BEST in the flooring industry working for Paul White Tile 41 years. He taught his nephews and many others everything they know. He loved his flooring family and took the young one's on as an uncle or 2nd father to some. He was someone you'd run your plan by first. He was a fixture at Paul White. Some good things Jim did after getting sober were being Santa for the LaDawn Quarter Horses Therapeutic Riding Center. Jim was growing his beard to have a real one this year. Jim wrote a gospel song for our church and it was recorded. He was so excited about getting the word out! Jim recently got patent pending on an invention of the "PRO SEAT" even making them the day before. He taught himself how to sew and was a regular at JoAnn's fabric, WHO WOULD OF THOUGHT? In his last days he just loved life and was excited about everything. He just wanted to be his best self and that he did! Jim is survived by his wife of 10 years Heather Brosseau, their children Jennifer Allen and husband Caleb four grandchildren, Devon, Johnathan, Alexis and Cj, Alicia Brosseau and her life partner Curtis Powers and their son Bo, Danielle and husband Scott Hisman, James Brosseau III and his son's Harvey James and Joshua, and Kyle and Jaycob Drake A viewing will be held on Thursday October 26th from 4pm-7pm at Dolby Blais & Segee 35 Church St. Westbrook Me.
