VERO BEACH, FLORIDA - Jacqueline Ann Bench, 80, of Vero Beach, passed away very suddenly on Friday, July 29th after a brief illness. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was born to the late Allen & Josephine Rodebaugh on October 9, 1935 in Elkhart Indiana. She was the owner/operator of Select Greeting Cards, LTD. She only decided a month ago to retire. She moved to Florida in 1990 from Traverse City Michigan, where she was the owner of a retail gift shop for many years. Annie's was a spectacular corner stone of shopping in the downtown Traverse City area. Jacque had an incredible green thumb and throughout her years was known by many for her amazing gardens. She also enjoyed golfing, live music, dancing and sitting outside by her pool. Jacque was a very strong force and was loved very much by her family. She has left a deep hole in our hearts. She is survived by her daughter, Tanda Butts and Tanda's husband Scott of Windham Maine; her four grandchildren, Alta Butts, Bebe Butts, Jackson Butts & George Butts, all from Windham, Maine; her brother, Tom Rodebaugh, and his wife Pattie of Naperville, Illinois; her 2 nieces: Jody Miech, her husband Dave and their two sons of Naperville, Illinois and Lisa Travez and fiancé Kent Mays of Castle Rock, Colorado; a nephew TJ Rodebaugh, his wife Stephanie and their four sons of Naperville, Illinois. She is also survived by her best friend, her dog, Toby. Her parents predecease her along with her son Bobby Rubio, and her husbands; Howard Bartling, Dr. James Hall and Robert Bench. Jacque's memorial service will be held 11:00am on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham, ME 04062.
