Isabella P. Knudsen, 91 ½, of Westbrook, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 with her loving daughters by her side. She was born in Portland, the daughter of Roswell H. and Lillian (Bartlett) Pfeffer. She attended elementary schools in Portland and Westbrook and graduated from Westbrook High School. She was a homemaker and an active member of the Westbrook Warren Congregational Church, and a member of several clubs including the Mizpah Chapter #3 Order of the Eastern Star.  She enjoyed volunteer work in the laboratory at the Westbrook Community Hospital.   Isabella raised four daughters and enjoyed helping with her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband William G. Knudsen; a sister Mary P. Morris; son-in-law Wes Clemmer; brothers-in-law Richard Fish and Angus Knudsen; sister-in-law Katharine and husband Edgar Cox. She is survived by daughters Susan and husband John T. Ham, Bonnie and husband Ronald Dunlap, Norma-Jean Clemmer, Nancy and husband Brian Plourde; grandchildren Victoria Ham and husband Mark Dahms, R. John and wife Heather Dunlap, Gregory Dunlap, Brian Dunlap, William Clemmer, Garrett Clemmer, Nathan Plourde, and Laura Plourde; great granddaughters Shelby Dahms, Haley Dunlap, and Serena Dunlap; brother Robert and wife Christine Pfeffer; sisters Alice Fish, Beatrice and husband Norman O'Brien; sister-in-law Beth Knudsen; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 PM Sunday, Feb. 23rd, at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook.  A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Monday at the Westbrook Warren Congregational Church.  Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.  On line condolences may be expressed at blaisandhayfuneralhome.com.
