Irene L. Chase, 102, of Westbrook, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Springbrook Health Care. She was born and raised in Rumford, the daughter of Raoul and Ludora (Viens) Lacroix. Irene worked at Maine Medical Center for 15 years. Irene was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and the V.F.W.  She loved playing Bingo and cards. She enjoyed traveling to Virginia, and Hawaii, and went on several trips with the church. She was predeceased by her husband Theodore and a son Timothy Chase. Irene is survived by her daughters Carmen Girard and husband Albert of Westbrook and Marie Laetsch and husband Dick of Scarborough; a son James Chase and wife Lisa of Woodbridge, VA; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
