Henry C. Wing Jr, 86, of Westbrook, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 5, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice with his loving family by his side. He was born in Bangor.   Henry is survived by his wife Barbara (Merritt) Wing, his children with his late wife, Michael C. Wing wife Judy of Gorham, and Daughter Donna Labbe of Westbrook. Grandchildren Joshua Wing, Seth Wing, Pamela Morissette, James Labbe, Michelle Labbe, Jonathan Labbe, and Egor Mossalev. Henry was also blessed with five great grandchildren.   Henry was predeceased by his first wife Diane (Laviolette) Wing, Daughter Deborah Wing, His sister Elizabeth Wing Bucknell, and his parents Henry C. Wing Sr. and Doris Drisko.   Henry was a lifelong model railroad buff. He proudly served as a Sargent in the National Guard in Westbrook for 11 years and worked at SD Warren, prior to moving to Connecticut where he worked for multiple Police and Correctional Departments. He worked security at Pratt & Whitney, and completed CT State police training and served as an auxiliary officer, prison guard, and security at Bradley Airport. While in Connecticut he was a marksman and competed in multi law enforcement agency competitions across New England, as well as being a Range Master for his local police department.   After returning to Westbrook, Henry worked for Fleet Bank and went on to retire from Federal Express. He stayed busy working part time jobs including Fire Police for Westbrook and finally retired from General Courier.   After retirement, he became an avid golfer, and was an active member in the Westbrook Band Boosters, to support his grandchildren. Henry was known by all as the "story teller."   Visiting hours will be from 1-3 PM Saturday February 13, at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook.
