WINDHAM – Gloria M. Grant, 92, of Windham passed away at Ledgewood Manor on Friday, August 10, 2018. She was the oldest of six, born to Myrtle and Raymond Small on December 12, 1925. She attended local schools. Married to Darrell Grant on October 14, 1944 for 62 years, they were long time residents of Windham. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Gloria enthusiastically participated in her children's activities such as being a Girl Scout leader and with the Rainbow Girls. In her earlier years, Gloria was an avid knitter and a good cook. She worked as a telephone operator for the Poland Spring Company and the Windham School lunch program. Gloria was a member of the South Windham Community Church as well as the Eastern Star. She is predeceased by her parents; husband, Darrell; two sisters, Phyllis MacDonald and Olive Flanigan; two brothers, Vernon Small and Raymond Small, Jr. Surviving are three daughters, Karen and Paul Strout of Gorham, Sandra and Thomas Tyler, and Darlene Haskell all of Windham; one brother, Robert Small of Casco; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandsons. A graveside service will be held 2:00pm on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Hillside Cemetery, Huston Road, Gorham. Arrangements are by the Windham Chapel of Dolby Blais & Segee, 434 River Road.
