Gloria J McCulloch ,73 of Westbrook passed away March 27 at MMC surrounded by her loving family after a long illness. Gloria was born July 30, 1941 daughter of Donald Childs and Ethel Mason. She graduated from Gould Academy in Bethel, married and moved to the Portland area and raised her family. Gloria worked part time and then dedicated her career in nursing. She is survived by three children; Rosemary, Harold Jr, Curtis, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother James Childs and family and her sister Juanita Goodwin and her family.Gloria was predeceased by the grandparents that raised her, Mary & Hollis Grindle and her loving fiancé John Marotto.   A dedicated Christian who was a member of several church's , most recently the Stroudwater Christian Church  she was also active in the AA program celebrating  34 years of sobriety. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, dancing and flowers. She loved her pets, and especially her music. Visiting hours are April 2nd from 5-7pm followed by her funeral service at 7 pm at Blais and Hay funeral home in Westbrook Graveside services will be at 10 am at Woodlawn Cemetery ,Westbrook on April 3rd Please join family and friends for her celebration of life , April 25th at the American Legion Hall 17 Dunn St , Westbrook from 12 - 3 pm Memorial donations can be made to The Animal Refuge League or Stroudwater Christian Church.
