Gloria Jean Merrill passed on Tuesday September 2, following a brief illness.  Gloria was born on November 27th, 1927 in Westbrook, Maine.  Graduating from Westbrook High School in 1945, Gloria lived her entire life in the Westbrook/Buxton area.  She worked for several years at S. D. Warren.  Her passing was preceded by the passing of her parents, Walter S. and Minnie L. Carr, her sister Carolyn Burton and Carolyn's husband, Robert (Bob) Burton.  Gloria is survived by her three sons, Stanley C. F. Haskell and family, David R. Haskell and family and Lawrence E. Haskell (Larry) and family. Family and friends are invited to gather for fellowship at Blais and Hay Funeral Home on Tuesday, Septembers 9th, at 10:00am.  Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Westbrook.
