Glenys Charlene Ellis Mitchell – Age 86 Limington Glenys passed away after a long illness on November 18th at Gosnell Hospice. She was born on March 3, 1929 in Winslow Maine.  She was married to Elliott Mitchell for 66 years before he passed in 2014. Over her lifetime she was a Hair Dresser, Homemaker, Stitcher, Canteen Worker, Florist, Cafeteria Worker, mailer at various businesses in the South Portland, Calais and Tucson areas. She especially loved spending time with friends and family and also loved to cook, apple pies were her specialty, fish, garden, knit, sew, cross country ski, camp, swim, read, play cards especially bridge and  poker, play  games, do crossword puzzles, dance. She volunteered for the league of women voters and belonged to the Garden Club. She attended Portland High School.  Glenys is survived by her children Barbara and George Whitlock, Betty and Edward Jordan, Ricky and Dawn Mitchell, and Belinda and Paul Saulle; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; Sisters Evelyn, Charlotte, Dorothy and bother Philip.  There will be a celebration of life gathering at 293 Sokokis, Limington (Saulle residence) on Saturday, Nov. 21, anytime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. To express online condolences please go to www.blaisandhayfuneralhome.com.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to: The Alzheimer's Association
