Gerald J. Sliger Sr., 67, of Knight St., passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012 at Mercy Hospital. He was born in Portland, the son of Gerald and Violet Sliger.  He attended Portland and Scarborough schools, graduating from Scarborough High School. He is survived by a son Gerald Sliger of Westbrook, a daughter Helen Sliger of Lowell, a brother Daniel Boynton of Rockland, a sister Naomi Cole of Westbrook, grandchildren Gerald Sliger III, Danielle Sliger, Shawn Sliger, and Storm Goodwin. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Saturday at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook.  Interment will be at a later date.  On line condolences may be expressed at blaisandhayfuneralhome.com.
