Windham, ME – Gerald "Jerry" Lee Robinson, 73, passed away after a long battle from brain cancer, surrounded by his family in Westbrook, Maine. He was born on September 28th, 1950 in Portland, Maine. Son of Donald E. Robinson and Nancy L. Cartier He graduated from SMVTI '71 with an Associate Degree in Oceanography / Marine Biology. He met Cathy in June 1970 and married Sept. 18th 1971. Catherine "Cathy" (Paul) Robinson had been married for 52 years, during which they had two children. He went on to have a successful career in management with Country Kitchen / J.J. Nissan / IBC. Gerald took great pride in his family and being a devoted husband, father and papa. He loved tennis, scuba diving, bowling, camping, and playing basketball, and enjoyed lifting weights, and watching his children / grandchildren playing sports, especially loved Movies and eating out. The love and devotion he had for his family was second to none and his presence in their lives will be sadly missed. Gerald is survived by, his wife Cathy, Son, Randy and wife Andrea Robinson of Raymond, ME and daughter Melanie and husband James "Jim" Rugg of Hartland, VT; 4 grandchildren, Codi and wife Mykayla Smith of Mooresville, NC, Drew, Justin, Connor. Brothers; Mike Robinson, David Grady, Kaiwi Kelii, Kevin Robinson, Jamie Kelii, Darren Robinson, Jodi Cartier, Robbie Cartier. Sisters; Ilene Larrabee, Cindy Kelii-Kauhaihao, Michelle Flechtner. Many many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends that felt like family. Jerry is predeceased by his mother Nancy Cartier, Grandmother Ilene (York) Holloway. A Visitation will be held Thursday, September 5th, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Dolby, Blais & Segee- Windham Chapel at 434 River Road, Windham, Maine.
