Obituary

George Watts, Sr., 84, of Westbrook, passed away on June 9, 2022. He was born on July 31, 1937, in Portland to parents George and Lucille (Roycroft) Watts. In 1971 George married Diana Cole and they went on to have three children; Teresa, Tracee, and Tim. He worked hard to provide for his family; working for Coca Cola, Portland Press Herald, was a volunteer fire fighter for South Portland and worked at the South Portland Police Department. He also worked as an usher at Portland Sea Dogs games, which he loved going to with his grandson, Zack. In his younger years he enjoyed playing golf, softball (Ground Round), umpiring and hunting with his family. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren Tabbitha and Zachary in the Special Olympics. George is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Diana, as well their children, Tracee and Tim; four children from previous marriages; George "Tommy" Jr., Dana, Kenny and Valerie and their families. He is survived by grandchildren; Damien, Dana, Keegan, Deacon and Noah Watts, Zackary and Brandon Conley; great grandson, Dominic Conley; nieces, Theresa Sargent and Katie Damon, and nephews, Mike and Ronnie Watts. George is predeceased by his daughter, Teresa; granddaughter, Tabbitha; brother, Allen and his nephew Allen, Jr. "Butch". There are no services at this time.
