Westbrook – George Saucier, 85, passed away Monday Feb.4, at Springbrook Health Care. He was born in Van Buren, the son of Hector and Adelaide Saucier. George served in the U.S. Army. After his military career He worked as a salesman until retiring several years ago. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all that knew him. He was pre deceased by his wife Rita LaJoie Saucier in 1994. He is survived by a daughter Phyllis Foley of Westbrook, 3 sons Donald of Springvale, Robert of Summerfield, FL., and Gary of Scarborough, 4 grandchildren Brian and Tracy Saucier and Julia and Michael Foley and great grandchild Kyle Saucier, sister Joan Dufour of Van Buren and brother Clarence of Ct. Memorial Services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Blais & Hay Funeral Home 35 Church St. Westbrook. Spring interment will in St. Hyacinth Cemetery.
