George E. Oldham, 78, of Buxton, passed away in the early hours of April 3, 2022. He was born in Portland on May 27, 1943, son of the late Roy E. and Bernice (Link) Oldham. He was a graduate of South Portland High School, and worked for many years as a machinist. George was an avid Red Sox fan, a lover of animals, coffee ice cream, spending time with his family and friends, traveling and riding his motorcycle, and fixing all sorts of things around the house. He leaves behind his son Glen and daughter in law Tara Oldham of Standish, a daughter and three grandchildren, as well as sister Judith Hills of South Portland. He was met in heaven by his beloved wife Astrid (Monika) Oldham. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, April 11, 2022, from 4-6PM at Dolby, Blais & Segee, 434 River Rd., Windham, ME. A private burial will be held in the spring.
