Windham- George A. Fogg Jr., 93, died Saturday January 28, 2017 at his home. He was born in Windham, a son of George and Edith (Rogers) Fogg. George grew up in Windham, attended local schools and was a 1941 graduate of Windham High School. Following school George proudly served his country in United States Navy and was a WW II and Korean Conflict veteran. He enjoyed a career as a truck driver, driving for Fogg's Transportation, Fox & Ginn, and St. Johnsbury until his retirement in 1988. George enjoyed a retirement position with the North Windham Shaw's Super Market. He was a former Teamster, member of the Presumpscot Lodge #70 AF & AM, and Windham VFW Post #10643. George enjoyed yardwork, skiing, fishing, and animals, especially his dogs. In addition to his parents George was predeceased by his brothers, Elliott and Francis Fogg, and sister, Marjorie Leighton. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol (Milliken) Fogg; twin sons, George A. Fogg III of Riverside, CA and Paul M. Fogg of Apple Valley, CA; sister, Mary Harris and her husband Wilbur of Windham; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. George will be interned in the spring at Smith Cemetery, Windham. Those wishing to remember George may make a gift in his name to a charity of one's choice.
