WINDHAM—Galen Richard Aldrich, 80, passed away at his home in Windham on August 28, 2020. He was born October 25, 1939, a son of Floyd and Edna (Boaubar) Aldrich.
After graduating from Windham High School Galen, was in the Army reserves for several years and also worked on the railroad system. The majority of his career was spent working for Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) for over 45 years, where he was known as "Pally" and had earned multiple awards. Galen loved raising his family which included his four boys, Scott, Darin, Christopher and Kevin.
Galen was a homebody who enjoyed caring for his property and loved spending time with his beloved dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Aldrich; sons, Scott Aldrich, Darin Aldrich and Christopher Aldrich; and many grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his son, Kevin Aldrich.
