Scarborough Gail passed into the hands of her Lord and Savior on October 13,2017, after a long battle with diabetes and other health issues. She was born on September 9, 1937, the eldest child of Russell and Daffa (Smith) Tucker. Gail was a very hard working woman and was married for 57 years. Her ex-husband died November 25, 2014. Gail had a number of jobs (anything to make a living) and raise 4 children. She entered the Post Office in 1967 in Storrs, CT and eventually retired in 1998 as a postmaster in Cherryfield, ME.  And a job she looked forward to going to everyday and meeting so many different people. Gail was a member of the Harrington Baptist Church, Grange #571 and the Milbridge Grange.  Gail, and her ex- husband had entered many dance contests and were likely to win some. They loved to dance. Gail is survived by her 4 children: Gregory, Deborah, Sheryl and Darlene; her siblings: Harry, Amber and Florence, 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Gail had many friends over the years but three of them were very close: Bunny Look, Ruby Mitchell and Martha Condon.
