Fredrick A. Loft, 80, of Windham, passed away at his home on May 19, 2022 surrounded by family. He was born in Kansas City on March 21, 1942, son of the late Ernest and Doris (Grolbert Bishop) Loft. Fredrick enlisted in the US Navy and served his country in Patrol Squadron Twenty-One NAS Brunswick from 1963 to 1965. He then went on to obtain a BS in Botany from Long Beach State College (now University of California at Long Beach). He worked for many years as a paper coating specialist at S.D. Warren Paper Company. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pamela Garland Loft, sons; Jonathan A. Loft and his wife Amy, Benjamin A. Loft and Lisa Starling, Jeremiah A. Loft and his wife Rita, and his two grandsons; James A. Loft and Jon Michael A. Loft. He is also survived by his younger brother Richard Dana Loft of Golden Colorado. He was predeceased by his brother James Robert Loft and sister Elsie Marie Loft Parrish. Services will be held at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Maine- Scarborough.
