Frank J. Reichert, 68, peacefully passed away at his home with his loving wife, Mary, by his side. Frank was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 23, 1954, the son of Everett and Jane (Hartman) Reichert. He lived in Buxton for over 30 years, owned his own trucking company, and was an independent contractor with Grondin. Frank retired as a First Sergeant in the United States Army after 25 years. He served four overseas tours, 14 of those years as a drill Sergeant. Frank loved boating on Sebago Lake and made many friends at Richardson's Boatyard, where he docked for many, many years. Frank and Mary were enjoying retirement, taking RV camping excursions and making many new friends. They looked forward to their winters in beautiful, sunny Arizona. He has been a member of the Moose Lodge since 1976, as well as a member of the American Legion, The Eagles, and The Elks. Frank was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Ilsi, their daughter, Tonja, and his siblings Janie and Robert. He is survived by his wife, sisters; Ann, Debbie and Susie; brothers; Jeff, Timmy, Bobbie and Everett; Goddaughter, Kerstin, niece, Marion, and several other extended family members. There will be a Graveside Service with Military Honors at the South Buxton Cemetery, 1187 River Rd., Buxton, on Saturday, August 13 at 2:00pm. Following the Graveside Service will be a Celebration of Frank's Life at the American Legion Post 197 in Westbrook.
