Westbrook, Frank Hiram Hager Sr., born in Portland Maine, passed away July 28, 2017 at his home after a long illness surrounded by loved ones. Frank was a lifetime member of the Amvets. He enjoyed going there signing the book, playing pool, and dancing around the dance floor with Phyllis Thompson, his companion of 22 years. Frank also loved roller skating, horse shoes, drinking cold beer, and being around family and friends. Frank served in the United States Air Force and worked as a supervisor for business maintenance corporations local, and in Hartford Conn. Frank was predeceased by both his parents are Kenneth Hager and Viola McCormmack; his three sisters Pauline Ferrante, Theresa Riley, and Dee Wilcox. He is survived by the love of his life, Phyllis Thompson of Westbrook; 2 children Frank Hiram Hager Jr. of Portland and Theresa Dee Hanks of Lake Wales FL; 10 stepchildren: Kathy Robinson, Mary Reed Clarence Wildes, Linda Solak, James Wildes, Mark Wildes, Tim Wildes, Billy Wildes, Peter Wildes and Phyllis Wildes. He had 5 grandchildren: Nicole Trefethen, Troy Thomas Sr., Mason Hager Kyle Hager and Matthew Hager and 7 great grand-children. Frank also had 32 step grandchildren, 66 step great grandchildren and 2 step great-great grandchildren. He loved Christmas and holidays with all of them. He was best friends with Bing Bickford growing up. Frank always had a Big Smile for everyone.
