Foster E Burke passed away February 16, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Portland. Born March 26, 1943 in Bath, Maine. Growing up in Mexico Maine he graduated from Mexico High school in 1961. He loved spending time at his grandfather’s farm, where his grandfather had chores for all of the children. He was known as a hard worker. He worked at Joys & Morrisons as a mechanic and several other garages. Many of his customers followed him from place to place trusting his work.

Foster was married to Gladys Burke, his first wife and then Rose Bouchard his second wife, both have passed away. Foster is also predeceased by his parent’s Erminie and Harlan Burke, a sister Mollie, and brother Jack. He is survived by one Sister Jane Tripp of Mexico Maine, Several Nieces and Nephews. Especially Missy who cared for them during their last years.

The family would like to thank neighbors - the Cassidy’s for being like family to Rose and Foster over the years and taking best interest for them during the golden years.
