Floyd W. Kierstead Jr., 56, of South China passed away at his home on Friday, Oct. 24, 2014 with his family by his side.      He was born in Portland, the son of Floyd and Barbara (Packard) Kierstead Sr. He was raised in Westbrook where he graduated from high school.      Floyd was a a devoted husband, father, and a very proud grandfather. A member of the China Baptist Church and an Asst.Scoutmaster of BS Troop 479 for 6 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and boating. He was a vice president of Orion Ropeworks, Winslow, Me.      He is survived by his wife Christine Annis Kierstead of China; his sons Adam and his wife Amanda of Concord, NH, Devon, and Jeffrey, both of China; two daughters Catrina of China, and Skye of Belgrade; and his grandson Isaac.      A Memorial Service will be held at the China Baptist Church, 36 Causeway Road, at the head of the lake in China, Maine on_November 2, Sunday at 2PM.
