Evilena Florence Fortin, 99 of Westbrook passed away Friday January 15 at Mercy Hospital. Evilena was born in Portland, the daughter of Ralph and Jessie (Wright) Cummings. After graduating high school, Evilina worked at several bakeries including Nissen Bakery in Portland, where she worked for 27 years. Evilena loved reading, and also enjoyed nature. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Fortin, her son Robert Fortin,  her daughter Rosemary Madore and her sister  Lydia Ramos. She is survived by her son Charles Fortin of Westbrook; daughters Geraldine Clough of Scarborough and Nancy Blaisdell of Portland; her half siblings, Raymond Putnam of Casco and Elizabeth Eldridge of Leesburg FL; as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 21st from 10AM -12 Noon with a funeral service to follow at 12 Noon at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook.
