Evelyn R. (Walsh) Noyes 86 of Windham, peacefully passed away on July 9, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Evelyn was born into the loving family of Ellen and Patrick Walsh of County Galway, Ireland, where she lived until the age of 19. She bravely came to the United States in 1949 with her sister May to join her sister Bridgette. She married Donald (Bobo) Noyes in 1953 in Boston, Ma. Together they raised 6 children and settled in Windham, Me. Evelyn enjoyed many hours in her garden. She was a faithfully devoted parishioner and member of the Women's Guild at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Family was of the utmost importance to her and her 8 siblings were so dear to her. As she reunites with her brothers, John and Patrick, sisters May and Bridget, she will be greatly missed by Katherine Melville, Peter Walsh and Marjorie Ford. She was a strong, caring and supportive wife and mother and will be desperately missed by her husband of 63 years Bo, son Donald of Naples, Sharon & Rob Parritt of Windham, Ellen & Paul Larrabee of Smithville, NJ, Judi Joy of Portland, Kevin & Tracy Noyes of Raymond and Michelle Noyes of Portland. She adored her grandchildren who will always remember Nana's care and love for them. Donny, Robbie & Crystal, Daniel & Robin, Summer & Adam, Nicole & Brian, Jesse, Mallory & Kyle and Stephanie and her great grandchildren: Jenna, Finley, Kaley, Jacob, Daniel, Torin, Tyler, Killian, Elliott, Phoebe, Eamon, Reese, Liara, and Quinn. She was also a lovely Aunt and will be missed by all her nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend their deep gratitude to the staff Barron Center for their care and support. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM Thursday July 13, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church 919 Roosevelt Trail Windham. Interment will be private.
