Evelyn S. Stilkey, 85, of Standish, passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at the Gorham House. She was born in Westbrook, the daughter of Charles and Susie Gemmell.  She graduated from Westbrook High School.  She was a member of the Beacon Club in Portland.  She enjoyed listening to talking books, going out to eat, and spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing Beano while she resided at the Gorham House. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Maynard Stilkey, a son Gerald Burns, a brother Arthur Gemmell, and a sister Jeanette Dibiase. She is survived by a son David Burns of Portland; daughter Susan Ritchie of Portland; brothers and sisters Charles Gemmell, Irene Bragdon, Lillian Charles, and Doris Colello, all of Westbrook; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A visiting hour will be held from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday followed by a memorial service at 11 AM at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook.  Interment will follow in Brooklawn Memorial Park, Portland.
