Eva K. Jeffers, 86, of Carlton St., Portland, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012 at St. Joseph Manor. She was born in Presque Isle, the daughter of William and Annie (Monahan) Jeffers.  Eva worked as a waitress at Woolworth's Department Store for many years before retiring 35 years ago. She is survived by a sister-in-law Orleans Jeffers of Westbrook; nephews Doug Jeffers of Windham, Chris Jeffers of Standish, and Mike Jeffers of South Portland; and nieces MaryJeffers-Gowen of Gorham, Michelle Butterfield of Gorham, Anna Bryant of Westbrook, and Suzanne Molina of Hollis.
