Westbrook- Eva Spencer Giro, 97, of Westbrook passed away at the Seaside Nursing Facility on December 26, 2018. She was born in Unity, ME August 24, 1921 to Ichabord and Lizzie Spencer. Eva graduated from Unity High School in 1938 and moved to Westbrook in 1941. She worked for the former S.D. Warren Company for 35 ½ years and retired in 1983. She was a member of the Portland Spiritualist Church. Eva is predeceased by one sister, Priscilla, one son, Leroy, two step-sisters, and five step-brothers. She is survived by her partner Arnold (Budd) Howe, one son, Gerald Tucker and his wife, Marilyn of Colorado. One daughter-in-law, Betty Tucker of Gorham, One grandson, Brian Tucker and his wife Maloti of Casco. One granddaughter, Laurie Freudenburger and her husband Rich of Tenn. Five great-grandchildren, two step-daughters, three step-sons, one niece, and one nephew. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Saturday January 5, at the Windham Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 434 River Road, Windham.
