Westbrook – Eunice Olesen, 95, of Westbrook passed away on July 6, 2016. She was born in Lancaster, NH, March 12, 1921 and was the daughter of Charles J. Boutwell and Mary Ella Thompson Boutwell. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Clifford N. Olesen. Eunice attended schools in Lancaster, Littleton, Farmington, NH and South Portland, ME. During WWII she was employed at Porteous Mitchell & Braun Department Store. She later worked as a welder at the South Portland Shipyard. She retired from the administrative offices of the A&P Co. During her retirement, she worked part-time as an auto route paper carrier. Eunice lived in Westbrook for 52 years in a house built by her late husband's grandfather. She moved to Eustis in 2000 and resided there until 2010, at which time she became a resident of Rocky Hill Manor in Westbrook. In her younger years, Eunice enjoyed hunting and camping and was active member of the Cumberland County Horse Riding Club, participating in competitive horse riding events. Eunice is survived by a son, John J. Kelley (Patricia) of Danville, KY; a grandson, Patrick R. Kelley (Donna) of Hendersonville, TN; a granddaughter, Erin P. Jarquin (Horacio) of Alexandria, VA; a great granddaughter Briana Kelley; a niece, Carmen Burnell of Elliott, ME and a nephew, Charles Boutwell of Manchester, NH. A memorial service will be held on July 18, 2016 at 11:00 AM, at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St. Westbrook. Interment will be at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Westbrook.
