Portland,   Etta M. Denbow, 83 of Portland passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 at St. Joseph's Manor.   She was born in Somersworth, NH on August 28, 1932 daughter of  Sirois & Blanche Rodis.  She was raised and educated in Somersworth, NH.           She married Bud Denbow and they moved to Maine and resided in South Portland .  Etta was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She enjoyed her walks with her yellow lab, Finnegan, and she loved desserts.            She was predeceased by her husband, Bud.  She is survived by her son Kostas Denbow, and his wife Kathy  O'Malley, daughter, Kathy Goodnow, 4 grandchildren, Vicki and Alex Denbow, and Joshua and Kevin Goodnow, 7 step grandchildren, 1 great grandson, Austin Cook, a brother Charlie Rodis, sister in law, Avis Mallock, and cousin Shirley Sawtell.           A Graveside service will be held Thursday, July 28th, at 11:00 AM at Brooklawn Memorial Park, 2002 Congress St. Portland, ME.  Online condolences can be expressed at blaisandhayfuneralhome.com           In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Westbrook Animal Refuge League, PO Box 336, Westbrook, Maine, 04092.
