Raymond – Ethan Robert Levesque, 72, died on April 3, 2016, at his home in Raymond. He was born in Portland, on August 27, 1943, the son of Raoul and Alice (Theriault) Levesque. Ethan grew up in Portland on Munjoy Hill and attended local schools. After high school, he joined the United States Air Force. He proudly served his country, stationed in Texas, from 1962-1964, as an aircraft mechanic. When his service was complete, he moved to Florida and worked for Bell Telephone, again as a mechanic. He would eventually start work for Portland Transit before going to school in order to become a driver for Greyhound. It was when he was employed at Greyhound, that he was introduced to his future wife, Jacqualine Dyer. The couple was married on August 12, 1980. Throughout his career, Ethan had also been a truck driver for Cypress out of Florida and Sebago/Pacific out of Naples, Maine; a worker/leader at the Portsmouth Naval Yard; and most recently a flagger of New England Safety. Ethan was a member of Preble Lodge #143 A.F. & A.M. in Sanford, a Kora Shriner where he drove in the Renigades out of Lewiston, and a member of the Valley of the Lodge in Portland. In his spare time, Ethan loved to deer hunt, fresh water fish, snow mobile, and go ATV-ing. He also loved to tell a good story to anyone who would listen.
