Erlene C. McCormick, 67, of Maple Dr., Gorham, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the River Ridge Center in Kennebunk. She was born in Westbrook, the daughter of Merton and Evelyn (Shaw) Estes.  She graduated from Westbrook High School. She worked for Fairchild, Mammoth Mart, the Department of Human Services, and Work Opportunities in Portland before retiring in 2006. Erlene enjoyed bowling, camping and knitting. She was predeceased by a brother Earland Estes. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Gerald McCormick of Gorham; her children Jim and wife Laura McCormick of  Scarborough and Randy and wife Brenda Plummer of Scarborough; a sister Mary DiPaolo and her husband John of Standish; 3 grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, and Alexa; Aunt Emma; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook.   Interment will be private.
