Eric Charles Duda, 70, passed away on September 17, 2022 after complications following a recent surgery. Eric was born April 20, 1952 in Northbridge, MA to Leon and Audrey (Coombs) Duda. Eric was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1972 to 1974. He attained the rank of corporal in the 10231 Air Ground Combat Intelligence Unit and was stationed in Cherry Point, NC. Following his military service, Eric worked in Auto Body before getting his CDL and driving for Cumberland Farms for five years. He then went to work for Garelick Farms, and remained there for 28 years of service. After their retirement, Eric and his wife, Kathleen, moved to Maine to be close to their youngest Grandson. His retirement didn't last long, and he went to work for Wal-Mart in Asset Protection. Throughout his life, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, fishing and cooking. He lived with tremendous pride in both his country, and the time he gave in service to it. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He was a constant, everyday fixture for all of his grandsons as they grew from adolescence to young adults. As they have matured into adulthood, he enjoyed being able to include them in visits to the shooting range, one of his passions.+ Eric was survived by his wife of 49 years, Kathleen (Barszcz) Duda. Daughter Jessica Duda of Northbridge, MA. Daughter Rebecca Young, and Husband Timothy Young of Gorham, ME. Grandchildren, Cameron, Dylan and Tucker Lacour of Northbridge, MA and Jacob Young of Gorham, ME. As well as brother, Daniel Duda and Wife Nancy of Northbridge, MA and brother Gerald Duda and wife Donna of Uxbridge, MA. The family will be having a private Celebrate of Life gathering.
