Enid C. Smith, 95, of Westbrook, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014, at the Maine Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Springfield, ME the daughter of George and Mabel (Leavitt) Cole.  Enid graduated from Springfield High School where she enjoyed participating in the Debate Club. She worked at the Westbrook Hospital for many years.  She also enjoyed running the library at Longfellow Place, where she resided for many years.  She took great pride in her poetry writing, loved shopping, and camping.  Enid was kind and generous, and accepted people for who they were.  She was loved by all her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters Sandra Smith of Westbrook, and Victoria Watkins of West Gardiner , 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.                       A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Thursday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Westbrook.  Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.  On line condolences may be expressed at blaisandhayfuneralhome.com.
