WESTBROOK- Elizabeth Ann (Stultz) Pride, known to all as "Betty", passed away January 11, 2020, at the amazing age of 105! She was born September 27, 1914 in Westbrook, ME the daughter of Howard and Mary Stultz. Betty was a longtime resident of Westbrook and graduated from Westbrook High School. After high school, Betty worked at her father's business, Stultz Electric Works. Upon her retirement, she and her husband Tom spent their winters residing in Florida. Betty always had a very positive attitude and greeted everyone with a smile. She wasn't much of a talker, but was a great listener and problem solver. Betty was loved and cherished by her family and friends. An inspiration to us all, everyone knew her as an amazing woman. She received a special card for her 100th birthday addressed from President George W. Bush and his wife, Laura Bush. She is predeceased by her husband Tom Pride, who passed on November 7, 1999. Betty is also predeceased by a son, Edward of Ocala, FL; five brothers, Howard, Charles, Phillip, Harold, and Paul, all from the greater Westbrook area. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She is survived by three of her children, Carolyn Googins of Windham, ME, Robert Beal of Zephyrhills, FL, Brenda Whytock of Scarborough, ME; and many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great- great- grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Betty will be held in the Spring. Arrangements in the care of Dolby, Blais & Segee Funeral Home, Westbrook.
