Elizabeth "Liza" Mandile passed unexpectedly on October 16, 2019, into a peaceful place, at her home in Westbrook, ME, with her beloved cat, Baby Peepies, by her side. She was born on November 5, 1954, to Thomas and Beatrice Egan, in Harford, CT. She graduated from college with a teaching degree, but her love of animals brought her to a veterinary hospital in CT. In 1992, Liza moved to Maine, where she was the longtime manager of The UPS Store in Mill Creek, South Portland. From there, she took a year to just enjoy life before starting a job at UNUM. She retired in July 2019. Now would be her time to enjoy life, gardening, Baby Peepies, reading, a great meal, a nice glass of Pinot Grigio, and country music. Rest in peace my dear friend.
