Elizabeth A. Libby After years of declining health, Elizabeth A. Libby was relieved of her pains and physical limitations to be with her Lord on March 21, 2016. Beth (don't call her "Betty" if want her to answer) was born on March 24, 1943, the middle of seven children, to Clifford E. and Elizabeth (Bennett) Libby. She attended Westbrook schools, graduating from Westbrook High School in 1961, and began her working career as a bookkeeper for Westbrook Trust Company, then moved to Credit Unions at S.D. Warren (retiring after 25 years), Blue Cross Anthem, and Coast Line (retiring after 10 years). Beth was a dedicated member of the Westbrook-Warren Church, UCC, Westbrook Assembly No. 2 IORG, Mizpah Chapter No. 3 OES, and more recently the Westbrook Women's Club. She was most generous, sharing her many talents for working with numbers, sewing, basket-weaving, and singing with friends and family. Beth was predeceased by her parents, and brothers Frederick E. and Earl C. Libby. She is survived by siblings: Evelyn L. (Carleton) Meserve, Eugene G. (Florence) Libby, Paul R. (Nancy) Libby, and Julianna Libby; many nieces and nephews and Great-nieces and –nephews Visiting Hour will be held from 10 to 11 Saturday, March 26th, 2016 at the Westbrook Warren Congregational Church, 810 Main, St. Westbrook a service will follow at 11:00 am.
