Eleanor Mae Harmon, 87, of Windham, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough after a brief illness. She was born in Portland on May 25, 1935, one of five children to Stanley and Charlotte (Kerr) Thompson. Eleanor attended Windham Schools growing up. In 1956, she married the love of her life, Norman Harmon. She loved animals, ice skating, camping, and spending time with her family. She leaves behind her husband of 66 years, Norman Harmon of Windham, son Dennis Harmon and wife Paulita of Sangerville, daughter Rebecca Murray and husband Vincent of Hope, brother Benjamin Thompson and his wife Joan of Windham, twin sister Lorraine Jones and her husband Edward of Gray, as well as 6 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Cynthia Harmon, brother Stanley Thompson, and sister Barbara Dyer. A visitation will be held for both Eleanor and Cynthia on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 1PM-3PM at Dolby Blais & Segee, 434 River Rd., Windham, ME 04062.
