Elaine B Murak passed away on July 12, 2021 at Eastside Center for Health. She was born in Castine, Maine on July 13, 1949, the daughter of Oliver Bakeman Jr and Dorothy Dyer. She graduated from George Stevens Academy High School of Blue Hill, Maine, and from the University of New England. Elaine was a registered nurse working many health care areas. Elaine is survived by her son Keith Murak and his wife Kristin Murak of Westbrook, a daughter Amber Ranney and her husband Michael of North Carolina and a grandson Truman. Brothers Frank, Robert and David and sister Elizabeth Herrick. Elaine was predeceased by her parents, sister MaryEllen (Cupe) and niece Kristen Herrick. The family wants to thank all of her excellent caregivers at Phillips-Strickland House and Eastside Center for Health. There will be no services per her request.
