Obituary

**This feeling inside me says it's time I was gone Clear head, new life ahead It's time I was king now, not just one more pawn Fly by night, away from here Change my life again Fly by night, goodbye, my dear My ship isn't coming and I just can't pretend Moon rise, thoughtful eyes Staring back at me from the window beside No fright or hindsight** Edwin F. Farwell jr.65, left us at 545pm new year's eve. **Leaving behind an empty feeling inside** Children; Nicole and Dan Cope, Shelli-ann Farwell and Isabelle Mahannah. Along with two grandchildren, he was truly proud to see grow; Natalie and David are sadly left behind. Ed loved fiercely with his whole heart. Giving so much that he needed a pacemaker in the end! His friends and family will definitely feel the loss and emptiness for time to come. He worked many years doing laundry for the city of Portland at the Barren Center, Unifirst and for the Maine Correctional Center. Later on in life finding out how a "Real Italian "was made at Amato's. Always leaving more happiness and laughter with co workers and inmates than took. His best friend, sister and co-founder "School of Grampy and Yaya," Cindy "loopie" Farwell, left us two years ago. As well as his parents "Nanny and Papa," Ed Sr. and Carol Farwell were lost to us many years prior. He would recently tell us he just wanted to be with them with the pain he carried inside daily. We know that there was a "New Year's Rocking Eve" concert...that our family reserved a front row seat, just for him, to all the greats! **Start a new chapter, I find what I'm after It's changing every day The change of a season's enough of a reason To want to get away Quiet and pensive, my thoughts apprehensive The hours drift away Leaving my homeland, playing a lone hand My life begins today** When you get to the pearly gates Daddio... Raise your hands, bow your head and know that there's more and more truth to the words written in red! This will be your new homeland and chapter. Your season just begun.... We will love you more and more and tell you what we had for dinner every night!
