Westbrook Edward A. Dunn Jr., 84 died Sunday November 12, 2017. He was born January 24, 1933 in Portland a son of Edward and Irene (Murphy) Dunn. Ed grew up in Portland and was a 1951 graduate of Cheverus High School. He took great pride in his career as a salesman for the Jayson Company and York County Biscuit. Ed was most passionate about his family and his church community of St. Anthony's, where he was the long time editor of the church bulletin and dedicated 4th degree member of the Westbrook Knights of Columbus Council #2219, Assembly 356. In addition to his parents Ed was predeceased by his son Edward A. Dunn III, son in-law Bruce Smart, and brothers, John and Roland Dunn. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Dawn Dunn; children, Rhonda Ann Lawrence of Randolph, John J. Dunn and his wife Vincenza of Portland, and Pat Smart and her spouse John Stiles of Windham; grandchildren, Amina, Christopher, Corey, Jason, Amanda, and Nicholas; and eight great grandchildren, and sisters, Barbara Sexton and Myra Knorr. Visiting hours will be held from 5:00PM – 7:00PM Wednesday November 15, at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby Blais & Segee. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM Thursday November 16, at St. Anthony of Padua Parish 268 Brown Street, Westbrook. Burial will follow at Old Calvary Cemetery, South Portland.
