Edward A. Dunn III, 52, of Pine View Rd., passed away on Monday, March 26, 2012 at his home after a long illness. He was born in Portland, the son of Edward A. and Dawn M. (Haycock) Dunn Jr.  He was raised in Westbrook and attended Westbrook schools.   Ed worked for Fairchild Semiconductor for 33 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, snowmobiling, and boating.  Ed loved being at the lake and outdoors puttering around the yard.  He was always willing to help other people. Ed is survived by his mother and father Ed and Dawn Dunn Jr. of Westbrook; his wife Kathy Louise (Lewis) Dunn of Westbrook; a son Corey Dunn of Gorham; a brother John "Jack" Dunn of Portland; and two sisters, Rhonda Lawrence of Randolph and Patricia Smart of Windham. Visiting hours will be from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Blais &Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook.  A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Friday at the funeral home.   Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, So.
