BALDWIN – Earland M. Plummer, 82, of Baldwin passed away on August 9, 2021 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. He was born on August 2, 1939 in Portland to Clyde and Evelyn (Murch) Plummer. His family moved to Raymond and Earl attended school there. For thirty years, he was a truck driver for St. Johnsbury. Earl loved listening to Johnny Cash, watching NASCAR and playing cribbage. He also enjoyed carpentry, teaching his grandchildren sports, and loved spending time with his daughter's dog, Buster Brown. Earl also taught his great-grandchildren baseball and they called him "funny grandpa". Earl (along with his wife Arlene), owned and operated a sports memorabilia card shop and enjoyed attending the ladies University of Southern Maine Basketball Team. Earl loved telling jokes and doing pranks, always making people laugh and smile. He was predeceased by three sons; Robert Plummer in 2009, Dennis Cram in 2006 and Charlie Cram in 1970; two brothers, Wayne and Keith Plummer; his beloved cats, Blackie and Miss Kitty. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Arlene (Meserve) Plummer; sons, Rick Plummer and wife, Amy, of Hamilton, MA and Frank Cram of Portland; daughter, Mary Walker and husband, Peter, of Hollis; five grandchildren, Michael Plummer and Devin Plummer of MA, Lynn Cram, Louis Cram and Owen Cram all of Portland; seven great-grandchildren, Cadence, Anella, Xanda, Catlynn, Aubree, Lillian, and Yiatt.
