Douglas Pocock August 10, 1966- April 8, 2023 Douglas Pocock, 56, of Gorham, ME passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2023. Born in New York City and raised in Scituate, MA, he attended Scituate High School and graduated in 1984. He attended New Hampshire College and after graduation had a long career in pharmaceutical sales. A life-long sports enthusiast, he loved hockey and played weekly until just a few years ago. He was an avid golfer and played a few times a week throughout his life with his sons and many friends. Nothing gave him more joy than spending time with his sons, ideally on a golf course or watching a Boston sports team. He will be remembered as a wonderful and loving Dad, and a humorous and kind friend. We are devastated by this sudden loss and will miss him forever. He is predeceased in death by his father, Richard Pocock. He is survived by his sons, Sean of Charlotte, NC, and Sam, a senior at Providence College, and his former wife Sara McLaughlin of Gorham, ME. His mother Kathleen of Jensen Beach, FL, his sister Debbie also of Jensen Beach, FL, brother-in-law Paul and niece Sophie of New York City. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 15th, 2023 3pm to 5pm with a memorial service to follow at Dolby Blais Segee, 35 Church Street Westbrook, Maine 04092.
