Gorham- Dorothy Etta (Perkins) Norris, 87, of Windham, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017. The daughter of Ralph and Mildred (Varney) Perkins, she was born in Windham on April 27, 1929. She was educated in Windham schools. She worked for L.C. Andrews and Dude's Dairy Bar. She later worked as an accountant for S.D. Warren for 33 years. She and her husband Richard were married on August 31, 1963. They volunteered as Boy Scout Leaders and enjoyed camping together, traveling, going to the casinos and playing bingo. She was predeceased by her sister Doris. She is survived by her husband Richard Merton Norris, of 53 years. Her son Richard Widger and his wife Angie, of Windham, her son Stephen Widger and his wife Gail, of Standish, her grandchildren Stephen Widger Jr. and his wife Jennifer, of Robertsdale Alabama, Stacy Widger, of Standish, Danielle Widger, of Windham, Jason Widger, of New Hampshire, great grandchildren Alexsis Widger, of Nappsville Virginia, and Brayden Widger, of Windham. She is also survived by her brother Ralph Perkins Jr., of Florida. A private graveside service will take place later in the spring at Mayberry Cemetery in Windham.
