Dorothy A. Martin, 74, of Gorham. Went to be with the Lord on August 3, at M.M.C., surrounded by her family. Dottie resided and graduated from Westbrook High School and raised her family there. She loved to be outside working in her garden from flowers to vegetables. Always willing to share her garden treasures with others. In her yard you would find feeders for many different types of birds. Feeding the other little critters that showed up for a meal were never left out. She enjoyed, knitting, crocheting, cooking and quilting. Many of the items that she made were for others to enjoy. Dottie loved her family most. Holidays with her family, always brought a smile to her face. Large family gatherings and sharing laughs and lots of love. She was predeceased by her parents Clifford and Edna Edgerley, her husband Joseph Norman Martin and brothers Thomas, Albert, Edward and Robert. She is survived by her daughters Kathie Martin of Biddeford, Susan Keene of Gorham and Elaine Libby of Standish, her granddaughter Marie A. Libby, whom she cherished, brother Clifford Edgerley of Gorham, sisters Helen and husband James Harris and Gloria Cieshelski both of Westbrook, Ethel and husband Ted McKeen of Yarmouth, Eleanor and Chad Grubb and Shirley Caldwell of Ohio, Sharon Tobey of Gorham and Penny Black of Pittston. She will be remembered by all as a loving person and will be sadly missed by family and friends. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the start of the funeral services at 4 p.m. at the Blais & Hay Funeral Home 35 Church St. Westbrook.
