Dorothy Louise Doody (Pendexter) was born October 5, 1931. Only daughter of Merrill and Mabel Pendexter. She grew up in Mapleton, Maine with her two brothers. In 1950 she married the love of her life, Coy Doody. Together they had four sons. Her favorite pastime was cooking for her family, and she was very good at baking. No one can forget her biscuits and apple pies? Other than living in Ipswich, MA she spent most of her life in Orrington and Westbrook, ME. She was predeceased by her husband, Coy of 55 years and her brother Harold. She is survived by her brother Earl of Ipswich, MA, her four sons, Vinal (Elizabeth) of Windham, Kevin of Bangor, Paul (Kristy) of Belmont, and Jeff (Fiona) of Belfast. She also has thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that she loved. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023, 12:00 pm at the Dolby Blais & Segee - Windham Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham, ME.
