WESTBROOK – Donna Lee LeBlanc, 76, passed away after a long bout with lung cancer. Donna was born in Westbrook, Maine on April 18, 1946 to Donald G. and Hilda E. Peterson. She graduated from Westbrook High School, Class of 1965. By a chance encounter at her sister's apartment, Gerard knew it was love at first sight and Donna then became Mrs. LeBlanc on July 3, 1969. Donna worked as a teacher's aide at Prides Corner School in Westbrook for eight years with second graders. She eventually retired from Unum after 18 years as security / receptionist. Donna and Gerard enjoyed traveling to Quebec, Bermuda, Disney, and Niagara Falls. But most of all, loved their many trips over 40 years to North Conway during the fall season. She also loved skating, cross country skiing, and shopping. She was loved by many and made everlasting friends. Donna was predeceased by her parents and eldest sister, Pat Bernier. In addition to her loving husband, Gerry, of 53 years, she is survived by her daughters, Laurie Paris and Stacey Cardona, and her husband, Bob; son, Allen LeBlanc and his wife, Melissa; sister, Pam Whitten; brother, Donald "Pete" Peterson; grandchildren: Zach, Leah, Jordan, Kayla, Sophia, Gabriela, Ciara, Isabela, Katelynn, and Mason; and great-granddaughters, Eva, Ellie, and Ada. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation, 4 to 6 p.m., Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 35 Church Street.
