Donna Jeanne French, 62, of West Pleasant St., Westbrook, passed away unexpectedly Thursday while at work. She was born and raised in Westbrook, the daughter of Lionel and Olive (Lamontagne) Caron.  Donna was an employee for Maine Medical Center for many years, first in the Neonatal Department and later with the Sleep Lab. She adored children and especially loved the time she spent with her nieces and nephews.  She was well loved by all who knew her and affectionately became known as "Aunt Donna" to many people.  Donna also had a soft spot for animals, especially cats; she has taken in numerous stray cats throughout her lifetime. Donna is survived by her parents Lionel and Olive Caron of Westbrook; her loving husband John French of Westbrook; brothers Dennis Caron and wife Lourdes and Michael Caron and wife Julie; her aunt Jeanne Caron; nieces Jillian Bjorn-Caron; nephews Alexander Caron, Benjamin Caron, Scott Caron, Danielle Claire, Melissa Crean, Cristina Leake, and Nicole Lebel; and grand nieces and nephews Addisan Caron, Makayla Caron, Jacob Claire, Samuel Claire, Cole Crean, and Abigail Lebel. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10 AM, Friday, Feb 27th, at St. Anthony's Church in Westbrook.  On line condolences may be expressed at blaisandhayfuneralhome.com.
