WINDHAM - Donna Louise Boivin, 64, of Windham, passed away on January 31 at her home. Donna was born August 7,1952, in Portland, the daughter of Clayton and Beverly Wood (Maxfield) of Gorham. She grew up in Gorham and graduated from Gorham High School in 1970. She had various jobs including Nike Shoe in Sanford, a home heath CNA, and retired as a bus driver with RTP in Portland. Donna has enjoyed snowmobiling, camping, fishing, taking her brother Donald to listen to bands and dance. Most of all she was happiest when she could help others. Donna loved her family with all of her heart and was always there to help those in need whenever possible. Donna is survived by her daughter Tammy Boivin of Rochester NH and her two grandsons Jacob and Jonathan Hoyt of No. Conway, NH., her sister Patricia and husband George Russell of Standish, and their children Scott and Lisa Russell and their grandchildren Tyler, Jarin and Kayleigh Russell who will miss her very much. An hour of visitation will be held from 11am to 12 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Rd, Windham, ME 04062 followed by a 12:00pm memorial service at the chapel.
