Standish- Donald G. Tucci Sr., 63, of Standish, passed away with his family by his side in Boston, on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. The son of Dominic and Sophie Tucci, he was born in Portland on May 27, 1953. He graduated from Portland High School, class of 1970. In 1972 he married Jane Wight of Gorham. The next year they had their daughter, Suzanne and three years later they had their son, Donald G. Tucci Jr. Always a hard worker, Don started Don's Heating Service, which he later renamed Sebago Energy Inc. He enjoyed antique car shows and fishing with his son and grandchildren. His grandchildren were the love of his life. He is survived by his wife, Jane Tucci of 45 years; his daughter, Suzanne Tucci of Standish; his son, Donald Tucci Jr. and his wife, Karen of Gorham; his grandchildren: Austin, Isabella, and Dominic; his brothers: Dominic Jr., Philip, Daniel, Michael, and Joseph; his sister, Mary Ann and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road Windham. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sapling Hill Cemetery in Gorham.
